Open the door of next-generation computing with photonics
Professor Nakagawa’s research focuses on photonics for next generation computing to realize quantum computers and AI hardware.
Quantum: We develop high-speed single-photon sources for high-speed, deterministic generation of indistinguishable single photons
and high-speed Bell-state generation using single-photon sources to realize large-scale practical quantum computers.
We develop topological photonics to realize scalable trapped-ion quantum computers.
AI: We develop active photonic cavities to realize AI hardware as CPU accelerator for scalable and universal Dynamics AI.
